Guardian uses Irish FOIA to investigate Sellafield Nuclear fuel factory

"Mr Blair had repeatedly run into stiff opposition from the Irish government when he decided to go ahead with the plant, as shown in documents released to the Guardian under the Irish Freedom of Information Act. Bertie Ahern, the Irish prime minister, told Mr Blair of his government's "total opposition, dismay and disappointment" in a private meeting in October 2001"
