FOI request - fish oil trials - an interesting approach to a fees problem

This is certainly an interesting approach to dealing with a fees notice: an FOI requestor asked Durham Council for data from the fish oil trials they carried out in schools and was told the request would cost £750 to process (over the £450 limit). The requestor then placed a message on the pledgebank site asking 75 people to donate £10 to meet the costs. Over 81 people have signed up. Not sure what the outcome is yet.
