Government Spending (Website) Bill - progress

The above bill which has been covered previously on the blog, passed its third reading in the House of Lords yesterday.

The bill's sponsor, Baroness Noakes (Conservative) said:

"This Bill is a contribution to the transparency and openness of government in the digital age, and my hope is that in another place the Government will embrace it and the future that it embodies."

The Bill now gets sent to the Commons.
